Every mom looks at that little bundle of joy and wonders what will life be like for their child? At 2 or 12 or 20 life may look good. In reality it may not be during the childhood that we see the outcome of our abilities to raise a healthy child until they are much older. If a parent could only have a mirror to see what each choice they make would bring to their child or take from them.
As adults we make our own choices, as adult we tend to make the same choices as our families did leading us to the same place they may have ended up unnecessarily.
It's pretty simple when we don't feel well many go back how our mom's or dad's helped us deal with a high fever, headache or discomfort of any kind. Laying down may or may not be the right move if no action is taken to counteract what is going on not just to mask the symptoms and create a optical for the body to cover come in maybe a prescription or over the counter drug. If a parent goes for a pill at the first sign of trouble most likely this is how the child will handle the situation the rest of their life.
It isn't surprising as parents raising young children they become part of the marketing directly or indirectly to not question what is being superscribed but to just accept. It is up to each parent to decide what they are willing to accept and maybe question is the drug company giving us their best or most profitable. In the long run it is our every day actions that children remember that helps create what each adult thinks is possible. As for children that grow up in to adults it is also the responsibility to go beyond what parents teach for every parent does the best they are able and still that does not make anyone perfect.
As a child with a fever my mom gave us warm Jello. She said the sugar would give us energy. The Jello gave us more than she bargained for it gave us a habit that I could not beat until I was over 50. I loved warm Jello for 50 years an sat down with out a thought every time I didn't feel well. Never a thought that not everything is better when we sit and drink warm Jello. My grandmother was not as much into the modern changes and we thought her solutions were silly. Oil in the ear for an ear ache just didn't cut it when the doctor could give us a pill. Parents train us well and companies train parents. Now the drug companies bring in the billions creating a need for at least one drug for the majority of people alive in the US.
John was not different after 33 years of being together I finally realized the side effects of his mom and dad gave to him. They loved him to death and I am sure like all parents did not understand the negative side effect of what is done.
Now John and I have adult children and I see what I did to them out of love and how unnecessarily difficult it is for them. The good part is when they were still both in high school I changed directions and have worked to undue the habits I created. I can just pray they figure it all out and I see them discovering a better path than I forged when I became a young adult.
We have to do better. John did not develop his identified sarcoma by taking a drug and it seems if there is not enough profit they don't develop a drug to take care of an issue. Team JOHN (John's Ordinary Healing Now Team) finds a way with what works in the real world with John's body and only when necessary a prescription drug is used until we find a different solution.

| Today John easily sees himself fully healed and even his walk is different. The body is building and this is just one tool to use in the fight to be normal. There is still much healing left to do with a mass still dying and yet it is not gone and considered large. Every day it is about finding a way to heal John and create a way that can be used for many, starting with visualization of hope and faith.
