Passive Peace or Proactive Peace?
How to turn the conversation back on.

John's doctor's who debate where silents filled the room vs doctor's that have a conversation where solutions are created. 

It wasn't a debate with the doctors as John lay in the Stanford Medical Center hospital bed  barely hanging on to each breath of life.  A body looking for a way to have a conversation. It was my job to make sure he had and has the best chance to survive and thrive. 

Just asking one question of an alternative method of treatment, Radio Wave obliteration created a push I could not have predicted. It change the whole conversation into a debate, a demand that the doctor have the only and final say. It was my job to change it back to a conversation, if not this highly educated under communicative doctor would once more just create a comfortable action. The only think that mattered was John staying alive to heal back to normal. 

I had a choice I could take a passive peace reaction created out of fear this doctor would be my only hope or move upward to proactive peace.
 The passive actions did take place, I told the doctor I wanted help.  I did not stop and give all my power away to be totally dependent on another. My proactive peace kicked in and I asked a question to create a conversation. Sudden happens to push us apart and Sudden creation of a way to communicate brings us together and gives a chance at a real world solution.  

The response to my question was it would never work and I will not help you unless you do exactly as I say  and the silent message was sent if you don't John will die. 

A doctor who has limited conversation talent and great knowledge doesn't have a lot to offer. I again asked a question of strength what was the life expectancy if an operation was preformed at it's best out come? The doctor totally stressed out and could no longer have a conversation. All of his years of training and knowledge were not up for just a conversation. Instead he took my question as a question of his skills not the best odds for John. If my skill to create a conversation had been just a little better the unnatural end to the meeting would have never happened. There was no room to agree or agree to disagree, just the powerful silents that followed him out of the room. 

We all lost that day unless we learned from the exchange.  I was not skilled enough to access the talents of a well educated doctor and the doctor was trapped within thoughts that created a prison instead of a home I could freely walk into. Relevant questions created the door to change the conversation from a prison to a home. Required both have to be willing to walk though the door freely for this to happen we both must be willing to participate in a conversation to change the prison we create and pick up the "saw" and create a door way and windows of a home we can both live in.  

The best part is John is still alive, surviving and working towards thriving. The identified sarcoma is still with us and his healthy cells are have great conversation and have stopped debating with the unhealthy cells. Every time we see or talk to some one in the medical field we create conversation to help us get the best service and for them to be able to give the best service. We both carry away new skills of conversation to help others help themselves. 

We will find a way with conversation. 

Still a long way to go for full healing. Doing everything we can and yes we can still use help. Everything cost money.
