Who cares if I can buy it now I can eat it now? I don't have time for this
There was a time I didn't have time so I just bought fast food or went out to eat at a nice place. It was all the same. Until the day we started growing food on about sq ft of land. About 5 years ago we started an heirloom organic garden that has taught us what real food taste like with no need for herbicides or pesticides. When I can't grow it I wonder what is in it.
In some areas of the world they hand pollinate out of necessity. So which creates a more expensive crop, hand pollination or bee pollination? Having to hire some one to paint pollinate seems it would not give us a better buy on food. Doesn't see like a real possibility? The question is in 2015 will we have enough bees to pollinate with the decline in bee population.
Farmers will save or kill us slowly by what they grow?
Many farmers just call up and place an order for bees and rent them for pollinating their crops. They don't walk out to see nothing in a bee hive where the bees are just gone or all the bees dead around the bee hive.
Pesticides affect life why wouldn't they affect bees coming into fields to pollinate?
The beekeepers see the deaths happen. The farmer's spray because they have been taught to spray and have lost their way of knowing how to grow food without a bulldozer method of pesticides and herbicides. So if they are afraid of loosing profit will a farm make a change or will they just stay with what works no matter the harm? No one likes to change and farmers are no different than you or I.
Sustainable or hostile farming?
Conventional farm just doesn't seem to keep life sustainable. They seem to depend on hostile ways to work with the land and not to work with nature to produce what is needed. When life needs life to thrive an Iowa corn field holds little life not even a bee vs around the world 150 different types of life may be in one square yard. Cornstalks Everywhere But Nothing Else, Not Even A Bee should be the most scary thought.
If you don't care about the bee's then maybe. The question is how much time will pesticides and herbicides take to hurt a body and mind?
How long will pesticides and herbicides created by Man take to harm if we are eating just a little each time we eat some food will it take to hurt the body and mind?
From a biochemistry stand point anything that a body is exposed to has an effect, it is what is the effect and how long will the effect stay in place that counts? Will it break down the immune system in the long run? It seems cancer is all about the immune system being broken down and cancer developing.
I am not sure how long it will take the pesticides and herbicides created by Man to break down and be a non issue. Does Round up still have biodegradable on the label? Look for yourself next time you see a newly produced bottle. Not may question that it is in the ground water and everywhere it seems. For the moment most likely it would be hard to get away from the exposure.
The secondary question is how long will it take for the pesticides and herbicides created by Man to be eliminated out of the environment?
A very long time if we keep adding everyday, I think that would mean never. If not now when will it be a good time to stop this madness?
What is the hidden cost of Man made herbicides and pesticides?
There is always a cost when we don't care or think a little won't hurt us. How many years off a persons life is it worth? If the brain is affected (seems like it is affected by everything) how much is the cost to less productivity, less connectivity, less communication for all who are exposed? How do we judge for a pound baby or developing fetus or child what the effects are?
If you are still on the fence
between organic and convectional pesticide growth this question may help:
If a pesticide and/or herbicides is ingested will it help or hurt?
and maybe more important if a pesticide doesn't help then why eat it?
Are we just an experiment that when we find the real world answer we kind of change or do we just change because we don't have to use pesticides and herbicide made by Man to live and can we live better without them?
I say yes. There is a better way and each of us can find a better way the world is not so much about money as it is about our actions and what we do with our time as a group of millions and billions of people we have the power to change the world. If we don't follow the rules of nature, nature has the last say every time, nature has no heart and nature can create a heart in Man.
About 5 years ago before John Cearley developed and grew this identified extra large sarcoma cancer our thoughts of what mattered did not include organic. The answers behind why the body goes haywire is complicated, after my 15,000+ hours of study we know there are many answers of why and to start the healing process. I believe we for right now we all have to live with some exposure of a food grown with the indirect use of most pesticide/herbicide. We do not have to add to the issue by buying food that intentionally use a Man made pesticide or herbicide we have a choice. If we don't buy it they won't grow it.
The idea of killing life to grow is just such an out dated idea with techniques for farming able to grow higher quality of food with fewer seeds, less water and land a reality. Why use and unstable way of life just to create a profit for someone when there are better ways. There is a thought we have to have instead of using what we need. It seems we create and we have to sell it and use it no matter if it is good in the long run or not.
We will be hungry today, tomorrow, five years from now and over our lifetime. What we do today determines our future of tomorrow. Profit should not be the reason we live. Diversity in life makes us strong enough to see the difference between a profit made for profit or profit make that works with real life.

years.
