We Didn't Pick the Day Nature Struck John's
We choose the day to fight back
There seems to be sudden and then there is sudden when we don't recognize what is going on until we suddenly have a very large issue. That does not mean we did not have a change to change the out come, it means we did not have the knowledge or put the pieces of the "puzzle" together to stop something from happening. Upon occasion we may even know something is happening and know of no way to stop it. Like a dam breaking all we can do is try to get out of the way, hoping death does not take us that we will have hope and faith to guide us until we can find a way with accurate science, well designed products and a mind that will kick in with diverse critical thinking instead of desperation and accepting what is only solution being offered.
It is only what we carry with us and how flexible we can become in our body, brain and mind that give us a change to beat the odds that are stacked against us. Sometime we have a moment to learn and then there are the moments all we can do is say we will fight to win a battle before us. The battles we think of on a field in a far away place are few and far between. The battle in real life is usually wrapped around an idea of what we believe vs what is in the real world.
We are told many ideas as fact and yet the facts many be strong beliefs and are not always facts, until we find the whole story over many years of trial an error. When we are thrown into a battle of life and death it usually is not one that can be won with cannons, guns or knives. Those are between groups of people over land and ideas. The civil war that happens within the body of the real estate of the brain and body is where the battle begins and ends.
Our weapons of choice most often today are drugs, chemo, radiation or surgery. What if we want to keep all the real estate in tack and gently dissolve away the conflict within. That is what healing is all about. It seems when we hand our bodies civil war over to those who are only interested in what is most profitable they look to mass destruction methods first taking the valuable real estate of the body that might be healed and hoping they will kill the abnormal cells before the life of the person. They most likely do not care if one person dies, only if the bottom line disappears.
The day we decide to fight back is the day we start to ask questions, the day we send a message that good enough is not acceptable. Not the most profitable, just what works best in the real world.
When we choose to fight to prevent a civil war, it works best before the world has turned to a sudden event. The day that we say this is good enough is the day we lay down and start to die. Everyday we demand more from companies is the day that they will give us more, better ways to heal, more support of mind and body to deal from strength, more freedom of choice, more freedoms to find answers and just more conversations that go some place. After all new and improved usually means less expensive to produce or ship,it is not for us it is for the companies that we look toward for help during a desperate time of sudden.
We want a perfect world and yet the more we just demand perfect instead living real life by the rules of real life is the moment we find less them perfect and almost no room to grow. . Words that form ideas start creating the ability to be flexible and our actions create a way.
November 18, 2013 was the day we knew John Cearley had been slapped up side the head by nature when John was identified with a head size sarcoma cancer. All the possibilities of a future together could end almost instantly if John did not live, if we could not figure out a battle plan. The doctor's all had their thoughts wrapped up in surgery and chemo, it was cleaver and brilliant, it was not our only option, it did not hold full promise of life. The only question was would it be the best way to survive and thrive in the long run. Would it work in the real world or leave John a shadow of a man or worse dead.
The moment we asked "Can we have John's estrogen levels checked and the doctor made a reference that is a woman's hormone told us there is so much more that can be done. The only answers offered were possible their best and yet still could be out dated in accommodation of helping a body heal and a man to survive and thrive to be the love of my life, the father of the bride, the grandpa to be.
There was no smooth path, all choices had high risk. The difference was we had started this path of fighting, not the day nature hit John upside the head, but 5 years ago when it was possible to prevent. We didn't understand the exact issue and had all the questions and no real world answers. In the 5 years we knew something was going to give with the answer from doctors always being the lab work is great you look fine. The answer to the questions of why is one hand warmer than the other, why is one leg swelling, why is the blood pressure so high, why the only answer at first was "Go home and enjoy the holiday's we will see you after the first." These were the moments we knew the ball had been thrown into our court every time if John was to heal, survive and thrive.
Money moves the culture like no other, in control it is a paddle to navigate with. Profit first without purpose or conscious it becomes a nightmare of rapids ready to pull a person under and drown who ever gets to near without a life preserver. We send a message everyday to the medical industry we want their best, what works and to find the answers. When a real world answer is found for John, it will be done for others so the struggle is ours not everyone that comes through the door.

In the last year John has dissolved one mass and the other mass is dying according to the last several current scans. The insurance company pays for only what is in the contract and have been great in covering what is contracted.
