"210 billion extra pound of fat
if 7 billion people
carry an extra 30 pounds of fat
Could personal solutions be the answer to helping you and the world?"

I saw this graffiti on Asap science. It made me think of the 7 billion people on this planet, Earth. It made me think of the time I was about 40 pound heavier and the 30 years it took to gain the excess, unwanted weight.

Now that I am right at 120 pounds the world is a very different place. When I had the extra 40 pounds I felt I was stuck, nothing worked, then I thought I was going to die. There seemed to be nothing that would work.
I had new reasons why to move a different direction. I did not want to leave my children without a mother, I didn't want to die slowly with an abrupt end. The struggle over weight is easy to criticize when you are not the one within the struggle. I hope all who are trying move forward are able to move quickly.
What is the cost of our excess pounds:

It is clear Americans are tipping the scales, but it is not just America that I am thinking about. We are a growing world and now have a population over 7 billion.
7 billion people times 30 excess pounds is about 210 billion pounds to feed ( I do not know what the average is world wide the 30 pounds is an example. The food needed to create 210 billion pounds is an astronomical amount, with one pound of fat created from 3,500 calories consumed, according to the CDC (2)
Fat is a demanding master and requires constant care and feeding to create and maintain. Including the side effects it can take a tole on a person and society. The CDC (2) reports in 2008, medical costs associated with obesity were estimated at $147 billion and include addition problems of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and certain types of cancer, some of the leading causes of preventable death.
Final words:
There are no obesity police in America we have the freedoms to buy any thing we want. The day I looked in the mirror and found the numbers 159 show up on my scale was the day I knew I was part of the problem and not the solution. It truly came down to making it a personal choice that I could help no one or everyone including me. It came to the fact that I would soon die if I didn't change.
Every pound counts. All we can do is our best. To move forward and not back. We each have a mind and a choice. If we use both the answers may become clear.
Every pound not created is one less pound to feed.
Looking at the whole picture always helps me make a better choice. Be more proactive we can all become just a little bit better and the more likely the negative results in life can be avoided. Stand up tall with an upright posture and be proactive. The solution helps to keep moving the best direction is to step onto the path of True Health. Discover a new world. Help yourself, help the world, step on to the Path of True Health and vote with your dollars company you want to support to create a world you will love to live in. I do, and I like the world I am helping to create. Together we can create a better life for all to remember over their entire lifetime Together we can protect what we have so we don’t need to live in a world that is second rate.
