“Talk, think then action:
One man‘s way to deal with Alzheimer‘s Disease many help many”

My Story:
I was the heaviest I had ever been, I knew I had a problem and I didn't want to talk about it! Ignorance is bliss. Then one day I realized after looking a the numbers from blood lab work the real picture looked grim. I couldn't live in a fairytale anyone. I went from not thinking about my wait to thinking all the time. Wondering how to solve my problem, I didn't want to die yet. The sad part is there are so many people who aren't ready to think they might have something to overcome. They live in a world of “I will think about that later” just waiting for nothing to happen and knowing in the back of their mind everything will happen one day.
One doctor’s solution:
Mail Online (1) reported this month about Doctor David Hilfiker who was diagnosed recently with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) instead of sitting around being depressed waiting for the disease to take away his memories he is taking action. He started a blog to help him spread the word that having AD isn't a top secret to be hidden away and covered up so no one knows about it. It is a reality for some that he wants people to be free to talk about it. When we can talk about something then we may be able to find better answers to help us deal with issues that arise under difficult circumstances. When many people dealing with the same issue are able to be unchained to talk about the forbidden that frees them up to think about what they are dealing with and how to solve a set of challenges each day.
Final words:
AD or weight gain are two of many challenges to be dealt with by many people. Taking emotional control helps to keep Hilfiger’s and my mind going in the right direction. It seems he has stopped thinking beyond writing a blog. My thoughts run to what is possible in recreating a new working mind. (2). We can wait, become angry or try to improve against all odds. Sometimes we might be able to push the odds to our own favor. After all if I hadn't challenged my whole beliefs I wouldn't be writing this blog right now. I shudder to think where I would be if I hadn't taken control and pushed on.
Discover a new world. Help yourself, help the world, step onto the Path of True Health and vote with your dollars to create a world you will love to live in. I do and I like the world I am creating. Together we can create a better life for all to remember over their entire lifetime Together we can protect what we have so we don't have to create a world that is second rate.
