“Normal brain: philharmonic on demand.” ~ Cynthia G. Creel

Life creates a symphony, the quality is in question?

11:15 AM! How did the time get to be so late? I was starving! I glanced around the room and spied some cookies! Rice treats to be exact. It has rice in it, that makes it good for me was a great ratiocination to do what I wanted. I’m so hungry. I can eat this in the car an it will hold me over then I will get something later at the store. As I drove to my appointment I quickly devoured my treat of an extra large piece that extended beyond my finger tips double  the size of my hand and felt happy, for the moment.

An hour later I walked into the store to buy another snack. As walked past the sugary treats I knew I needed something else, I spied an apple . My eyes stopped for a moment on the deep red apples thinking about how mealy they could be, no I like this one just a little red and yellow.  That will do it is healthy. It was no wonder my weight had steadily gone upward until I was not only 40 pounds heavier. Making me unhealthier by the minute cutting my life expectancy by days that would turn into years if I had not changed.

I never once gave a thought of the quality of food how it was processed or produced. I just took what hit my fancy. What ever  was available in the store must be ok or they would not be selling it.  By having those immature eating habits and depending on others, who I had not understood who they were and what their goals were in selling products. This left me to the mercy of the river of life. Each current taking me to another part of the river or taking me under and drowning me, forever dead. By my own free will I had done this to myself.

Today I am a new me, one that questions and learns about everything I can to help me to be well enough to help those who lack the understanding. I control much in my world so my body can control the environment that I do not understand yet or will never be able to do anything to stop it from entering the body. This leaves me with a brain that is normal, one that is not distracted into just trying to survive.

The brain craves a normal life to create normal brain to do extraordinary things in life even if that means having a family that is fed  well, connects well and creates philharmonic orchestra (5) rather then an orchestra filled with musicians that do their best but could never create the same level of music. It take  a group of musicians all doing their best to create this level of music. If one musician is off just a little it creates a new sound, less pleasing to the ear. When it all works in harmony the forward movement is greatness in sound that is matched by no other. Only to be duplicated by those in a group with everyone doing their best and avoiding the buckets of water being thrown on the orchestra by those wanting our money.

One of the newest misdirected developments in the United States has been the creation of uncontrolled genetically modified organisms (GMO). This thought pattern of helping people is. in my opinion is fueled  by profit that in the long run will hurt us all. If the industry doesn’t change and people don’t demand differently we are most likely on a path of no return, never being able to recreate what was once here.

The Liberty Beacon reports on the newest ideas of using human traits crossing the barrier of integrating species that would be impossible in nature. Never knowing the real impact until it happens in 20 or 30 years. The Liberty Beacon reports that, “The only known GMO with inbred human traits in cultivation today, a GM rice product made by biotechnology company Ventria Bioscience is currently being grown on 3,200 acres in Junction City, Kansas — and possibly elsewhere — and most people have no idea about it.” (1)

So what part of the human body could make rice better than what we have already? The Liberty Beacon reports, “Since about 2006, Ventria has been quietly cultivating rice that has been genetically modified (GM) with genes from the human liver for the purpose of taking the artificial proteins produced by this “Frankenrice” and using them in pharmaceuticals.” (1) And there you have the money connection, creation of a drug with the idea to make billions to solve a symptom of a body that is stuck at a high school level of Orchestra rather then helping it to become a “world recognized Philharmonic” (5)

With Americans consuming large amounts of GMO‘s so “On average, people eat an estimated 193 pounds of genetically engineered food in a 12-month period.” reported by Environmental work group Agriculture (EWGA) (2) Further reports from EWGA talk about “The government isn’t doing this kind of research and is not requiring it of the food industry” and “As a result, the jury is still out – in fact, it hasn’t even heard the evidence – on whether genetically engineered food might cause health problems. And the answer to this question will likely remain unclear for years.”

All of these thoughts bring me to everyday life of how we are going to tell the difference of what is truly healthy and unhealthy for us. The lines are getting very blurry making it difficult for the average consumer to be able to sort things out to gain their well balanced orchestra of the body and mind connection.

It truly make it difficult not only for the average person but those who are trying to help, who track data that would put the average person to sleep in a record 10 seconds. The United States Depart of Agriculture tracks much information, the question is are they tracking the right information. One report by the Economic Research Service on Commodity Consumption by population Characteristics is tracing data of everything from fruits to vegetables in many ways from adult to children, income level to race and ethnicity and on  and on.   The question not that this data isn’t important to understanding how to help people to do their best but what is missing? What kinds of food? Where were they grown? How were they grown? Are they a GMO? How does all this information inter connect to give a larger picture of how we can create a country and a world that is not just any orchestra but a Philharmonic.

Not all is lost there is much change happening in the United States through government and private industry. “..the three-course meal included hearty main courses accompanied by fresh heirloom vegetables..” reported by The Examiner. (6) Or the idea of using the new science  technology to discover how to open new doors and have the body be self correcting with four-stranded DNA. Reported by New Science and Environment, “Cambridge University scientists say they have seen four-stranded DNA at work in human cells for the first time.” (3) and
“They suggest that control of the structures could provide novel ways to fight the disease.” (3)

All of this leaves me with home that we can have normal brains to create the symphony we need to create “beautiful music not only on the stage but in life also. The choice is really ours in where we spend our money and what we care about. The first step to caring is spending money on items that place you on the path of True Health. Anyone has that power, they just have to care enough to step forward or have some offer a helping hand up so they can help themselves.
