products and obesity go hand and hand?
The scale doesn't lie. ”

Facts about sugar:
One study (2) found if one sugary drinks is consumed per day there is link to a 75% risk of developing gout in women compared to women who did into consume one can of sugary drinks a day. The study ran for 22 years following 80,000 women. A similar study (4) concluded that men had an increase risk for gout if there was consumption of sugary drinks.
Another study (4) associated an increase risk of Coronary Heart disease with the consumption of sugary sweeten beverages.
An additional study (6) following both men and women found and increase in weight gain over a 4 year period of time. With an average increase by 3.35 pounds with one pound being contributed to sugar-sweetened beverages. With a similar study(7) showed an effect on children finding a significant weight gain in children when sugar sweeten drinks were consumed..
Artificial sweetener worse than sugar sweeteners?:
Artificial sweeteners may be like jumping from the frying pan into the fire as my mom used to say. One study (8) suggests the sweetness in artificial sweetener separated from the calories may add to an increases appetite and create cravings may lead to obesity.
Final words:
The question that stands in my mind is coke desperate to survive or just greedy to make their profits. They have created large gains in the past. It seems clear from many studies offered and the few I have put into the article that there is a challenge to the body when introducing drinks that have surgery sweeteners or artificial sweetener. Coke also is offering to help people become physically active, but I am not sure that could ever make up for the possible damage the could be happening by drinking some or most of their products offered.
For me the choice to not drink sugary drinks or artificial drinks was difficult at first. It took me a year to finally be able to say “No thank you.” In the long run stop drinking the artificial and sugary drinks may help many. It may help to avoid heart attacks, extra weight, or even gout.
What is right for one person is as always their choice. Only time tells us if we may have taken the best path. It is for each of us to find what is best for ourselves. It is the choices we make that decides our fate.
The more proactive we can all become the more likely the negative results in life can be avoided. Stand up tall with an upright posture and be proactive. The solution helps to keep moving the best direction is to step onto the path of True Health. Discover a new world. Help yourself, help the world, step on to the Path of True Health and vote with your dollars company you want to support to create a world you will love to live in. I do, and I like the world I am helping to create. Together we can create a better life for all to remember over their entire lifetime Together we can protect what we have so we don’t need to live in a world that is second rate.
