"More with less:
True success for the world creates 45 bags, not just 27!"
~ Cynthia G. Creel
My Story:
The rain poured down on a chilly November day, I glanced outside to be content that I was not cold and wet. It was my favorite time with John, raining outside, warm and toasty inside the house with a crackling fire in the fireplace just a few feet away and a chess board between us, I felt content. The only thing better would have been to win, the chess game. This has not been the case yet, my skills are lacking against John's who are well honed.
Games have always been a part of my life. It didn't matter if I was loosing as long as we were having fun. We were never too serious about the game, John would always teach me something new about this simplistic, most complicated game I have ever played. John’s idea was always get more for less by figuring out the best way to capture a game piece on the board with the fewest moves that were the least obvious of his true intent. It was not long before I realized this was just like life only you didn't always get to start a new game over in life. However, it is always possible to improve upon any life.
The challenge:
The ability to get ‘more from less in life is a concept I have by playing with for the last 3 years. Having the By Design Farm has only increased the intensity of how to feed my family in the best way with the smallest amounts: how to grow food with purchasing as little as possible to grow it, needing less food to feel satiated. Concise living is a way of life I have lived for a long time, with an increase in abilities I have just gotten a lot better at living concisely over the last 3 years.
The challenges are great, without the right goal you in mind, maybe going the wrong way and creating more work and use more resources ending up taking three steps backwards and costing a ton more money. As I wrote in an earlier article, "More with less: True success of 22.4 tons instead of 4 tons!" (1) and 10 Manatee escape death; The red blob of death took: 181 manatee, Save them, Save ourselves." (2) shows exactly what is happening. if we don't change the end result maybe no life at all, first in our farming fields, animals and then us. Only gaining experience to improve next time. True Health helps the mind determine a goal that could be the work the best and more importantly, one that can change the goal as need arises.
It seems like most of the United States has a goal that is just off. It is almost like we have a car and the car is out of gas. We need the car to travel and set a goal to get the car running. We do everything to move the car: push the car, pull the car with horses, lift the car and on and on . No getting the car to run like it was designed, never once even looking if there is gas in the tank. A simple solution that would work if it was thought out with a goal first of seeing if everything was working and checking it all out eventually filling the car with gas and putting in the key, starting the car and driving it away.
New ideas:
Some agricultural business goals have been misdirected into finding a better pesticides, herbicides, and genetically modified seeds. It seems that is how some companies think the best profits are made and on the surface I think it may be true until you dig deeper. These companies seem to skip a step when deciding how to help the company grow and provide a great product for the customer. How to grow the plants using a system to be more productive rather than just changing nature and saying it is good for us.
According to The New India Express(3) the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) method is helping many medium and small farmers and is able to produce a higher yield with less water used in the districts of Tikrapada village, India reports of farmers having an average yield of 39.25 bags of paddy per acre using SRI method compared to a yield of 25.75 bags from traditional methods. With one farmer achieving a massive about of 48 bags per acre compared to 27 bags per acre using other methods. This seems to cover all the bases of high yield, less water, seeds, fertilizers. Leaving the plants more resistant to pests and diseases.
Final words:

Final words:
I may not have found an idea that changes the world, what I have found is a path to True Health leading me to the best life ever. I see connections and ways that others miss. I see this ability duplicated in others on a True Health path. My hope would be that many people create the same ability to to help the world work in the best way possible, making everyday life rewarding each moment.
