The new black plague:
Ready or not here come
the Extra Ordinary Super bugs killing with a
40% death rate unless….
~ Cynthia G. Creel
Young or old it happens. In my case one day ice skating with my 55 pound daughter. She lost her balance took me down. Snap! I yelled, “Get off of me!” and discovered my leg was broken needing surgery. Weak muscles created a large effect and if I had been on the path of True Health I think none of this would have happened, but it did. At the time I was more afraid of not waking up from the surgery to correct the leg then anything else. Today, waking up would be a concern, but the secondary concern is almost more frightening then any other. The idea of being infected from not only a super bug, but one I would call Extra Ordinary Super bug. One that has the ability to change so quickly science can not keep up to create any defense against it. That is right, no prescription drug currently on the market can take care of this mass murderer, invisible to the naked eye. Like a new black plague spreading quickly, I have to ask will science beat this one or will our bodies have to do it for us?
The problem:
The problem at hand is understanding what is being dealt with, how fast are things changing and what can be done? There is a combination of trails and tribulations all connecting to create the Super Storm giving birth to these EOS Bugs brought to you by nature. The changes happen quickly giving birth to gonorrhea bacterium considered the strongest of all able to pull with a force up to 100,000 times their body weight. If we could do the same we could drag up to 10 million kilos. (7)
With one change there must be others that is the way the world works. The only thing in this world that doesn’t change is the fact there will be change no matter what. In March of 2013 the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released an early report on Vital Signs: Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacteriaceae. (CRE) or as I call them, EOS bugs, in a health-care setting and within the community.. Finding a dramatic increase in the EOS bugs over the last 10 years. The National Nosocomial Infection Surveillance system (NNIS), in just one decade (ending in 2011) the percentage of EOS bugs increased by 3% with the highest increase from Klebsiella species to a 8.8% increase Leaving all of us at risk higher than 40% mortality rate if a EOS bugs are contracted. (8) That means a person who is infected currently only has a little over half a chance of making it our alive.
Little can be done by a medical care professional, according to USA Today (4) in the lab after 7 deaths doctors discovered that the bacteria were talking to each other. Transition of information, directions through genes which would hitch a ride among the bacteria on “floating” DNA called plasmids as they moved from one cell to the next. There is hope a genetic that could be developed to identify those plasmids.
These bugs are big and bad. They do not care if a person is rich or poor, black or white, French or African, they only care about finding a host and if that host is weakened by some other condition so be it. In the recent study on the Heath Care-associated with infections deaths in the United States Hospitals states that the healthcare-associated infections (HAI) reached approximately 1.7 million leading to nearly 99,000 deaths. (6)
Hospitals are finding it difficult to purge their rooms of EOS bugs except by wiping down everything in a room using robots manned with a super 35% hydrogen peroxide solution leaving the room essentially IOS bug free with a 60% decrease in transmission. Beyond these types of actions it is all hospitals or doctors can do. The rest is up to us in understanding the how, why and what can I do about it.
How?:
Leaving us with only questions of how did people get exposed to such EOS bugs? By another bug that has changed in natures way the bed bugs, easily transported around the world hitch hiking on anything and almost everything. Originally thought of as just an irritation
a new study out of Canada contributes part of the cause of the spread of these EOS bugs from super pesticide resistant bed bug hitch hiking around the world, including North America and western Europe with a 30% of Toronto, Ontario, Canada reporting on affected shelters with bedbugs carrying the EOS bugs. Bed bugs from Vancouver, British Columbia were found to carry methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and vancomyci-resistant Enterococcusfaecium (VRE). Two patients were found to being infected by the same extra ordinary carrying bed bug with VRE being resistant to ampicillin, teicoplanin, and aminoglycosides but susceptible to linezolid, quinupristin/dalfopristin, and tetracycline. (5)
Why?:
How did these Super bugs caring EOS bugs have come from disturbing pattern of events starting with the idea to kill everything “bad” with a pesticide regardless if it was the best way. I wrote about this on a posting article "Ready or not, super bugs are here to stay." (1) It worked at first and nature took over as it does the bugs on the farm and around the world are now resistant to pesticides including the new corn that has a pesticide built right in. Yep, it produces a pesticide killing in this case a rootworm, Yet, now the rootworm is showing signs of becoming resistant creating the Super Rootworm unaffected by the best man made defenses.
Man created antibiotic, over used them and nature created better EOS bugs living longer to do more damage. Using pesticides on in homes and farms, anywhere to get rid of unwanted bugs nature created EOS bugs like bed bugs or rootworm among many giving them a way to live longer creating more havoc. The small and mighty change quickly, leaving us at risk with our only defense our bodies. Weak or strong it is our first defense and now it may be our only defense.
A solution:
For now nature is not providing enough protection for us and ramping up our systems yet. Does nature really need to change us or do we need to change? The question is are you helping or hurting yourself? Is your body ready for an attack to minimize the effects? If drugs can not help from the EOS bugs and the EOS Bugs are “teaching” other bugs with floating DNA instructions to become EOS bugs then what hope is there? The only plan of action is to have a body that is stronger then an EOS bug. It is a body that is doesn’t get headaches, back aches, colds, the flu, heart disease, type 1 or 2 diabetic, high blood pressure, pale skin color, large bellies, being tired all the time, unable to sleep well and so much more. All of these are signs the body is not working well enough to defend it self and be able to act.
Since I stepped onto the path of True Health I am affected less and less by the environment. My body can react quickly to change and adjust well. Knowing now I am more prepared then ever before, hoping it is enough. Keeping the body ready at all times for that surprise attack from the invisible. Ready and able to win. Sometimes we might need help from a doctor, I say make there job easy only needing physicals or not becoming that sick to need extra emergency help of a prescription drug. The more that you do to be proactive the less likely you might need extra help.
This is a war that has been going on from the beginning of time. The only question is are you ready to defend yourself? I believe it is not a matter of if a person will be exposed, it is a matte of when. I went out one Saturday afternoon expecting to have fun and end up in a very dangerous place, the hospital. I was grateful they could help me and at the same time never want to go back again. I will only if there are no other options.
Ready or not here come the EOS bugs! I hope doctors come up with a solutions fast until then it is only too late to step on the True Path of Health. Only if a person is no longer on this Earth can they do nothing, other wise take action and be the best warrior against the mighty tiny with a body that works the way it was designed too. To win the war telling this new “black plague” to just go away and don‘t come back.
